Originally serving as Director of Sales at one of our Nashville properties, Katie was brought on to the corporate team to serve as Regional Director of Sales in October 2017. She was further promoted to Vice President of Sales in April 2022, then President of Sales and Revenue Management in June 2023, and now she has taken up the mantle of President as of January 2024. Katie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Trine University. She began her career in 2010 as an Intern in the Sales Department of The Boulevard Inn & Bistro, a boutique hotel on the coast of Lake Michigan. In this position Katie was introduced to hotel management, on and off-site catering, meeting planning, and fine dining. She excelled as an intern and was offered a full-time position after graduation.
Katie moved to Nashville in 2013 where she worked as a Sales Manager for Radisson for several years before becoming Director of Sales at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Antioch. She is passionate about understanding guest needs, exceeding expectations, and driving revenue. Katie loves working in hospitality sales because it provides the perfect balance of guest interaction and financial analysis. She is always looking for new ways to improve guest experience and employee performance through new processes that increase efficiency.
